Stratford Senior Citizen's Action Network (SCAN) will be hosting an exclusive free screening of 'Ping-Pong' at Stratford Leisure Centre, Bridgefoot, on Wednesday 7 November 2012.

The film 'Ping-Pong' – Never too old for gold', which was shown as a trailer as part of the UK Older People's event in Stratford, follows eight players from five different countries as they compete for a gold medal and the competition is fierce!

Les D'Arcy, from Wakefield, is a living legend and at 89 years old he's no intention of slowing down. He's heading to China to compete in the over 80's Table Tennis Championships in Inner Mongolia - follow the ups and downs of his progress………

The doors open at 10.30am with the film starting at 11am and tea and coffee will be served at the end of the screening.

Also after the film SCAN members will have an opportunity to play table tennis. No experience needed, just come along and have a go. Show that you are 'never too old for gold!'

All welcome but places are limited for this free event.
