SDC’s Grounds Management contract awarded to The Landscape Group

The Landscape Group has been awarded the new grounds management contract for Stratford-on-Avon District Council.

The Landscape Group are a well established grounds maintenance contractor which provides comparable services for Coventry City Council among others.

The new 5 year contract, which commences on 1^st April 2013, will provide; a grass verge cutting service (which will be increased from 5 to 6 cuts per year minimum), maintenance of floral beds and troughs and tubs, public open spaces and play areas. The current service specification has been modified to ensure tax payers get the best value for money from the new contract.

The District Council is committed to continue working closely with its partners, including Warwickshire County Council, Town and Parish Councils and 'In Bloom' Groups, to provide a high standard of service to residents, businesses and visitors to the District.
