Stratford-on-Avon District Council together with SCAN, Senior Citizens Action Network*, are hosting a one-day free conference on some important issues - 'feet, ears, eyes and teeth'.

The one-day event will take place on Tuesday 30 April and has been organised to help people find out information, all in one place, on keeping these vital body parts healthy.

The event will run from 9.45am to 3.30pm at Stratford-on-Avon Racecourse with specialist talks, information, displays and activities.

There's plenty of free parking on site and lunch and light refreshments will be provided.

There's also an opportunity to recycle your old spectacles for a good cause too - so please remember to bring them along with you!

Booking is essential and places must be booked in advance by calling Jan Roberts at Stratford-on-Avon District Council on 01789 260108.

* There are 6 SCAN groups in the District - Alcester, Bidford, Henley, Stratford, Shipston and Southam.
