Stratford-on-Avon District Council together with NHS Warwickshire and Stratford SCAN (Senior Citizen's Action Network) are hosting 'The Healthy Bones Show' at Studley Village Hall on Tuesday 9 April.

The event is part of the 'Your Body: Your Bones' pilot project in Studley and has been funded by the Healthy Stratford Grant and co-ordinated by specialist NHS staff together with officers from the District Council.

The event is free and runs from 10am to 12.30pm with talks, information stands and activities focusing on keeping your bones healthy.

Also, as part of this work to promote the importance of bone health to older adults and pass on consistent messages, there is a free half-day workshop for professionals (community nurses, care agency and care home staff, dieticians and community based staff working with older people) on Friday 12 April at Kings Court Hotel, Kings Coughton from 9.30am to 12.30pm.  Booking is essential as places are limited, so please call Jan Roberts on 01789 260108 to book your place.
