Stratford-on-Avon District Council's Draft Core Strategy is first on the agenda at 6.30pm at the next Arden Community Forum taking place on Thursday 12 September at Henley Community Library, Henley Methodist Church, 115 High Street, Henley-in-Arden.

Following this there is the usual open house session where you can talk to a number of representatives from local organisations including the Safer Neighbourhoods Team surgery and look at the stands in the market place from Shakespeare Hospice, WRCC Oil Syndicate, Bromford Support and Relate Warwickshire.

Followed by the main event at 7.30pm including a 'Have you say' item giving you the chance to raise issues of local concern and keep up to date with what is happening in your community.

You can also take part in The Big Vote and help set the Police priorities for the next 3 months.  Voting begins on 29 August and runs until 11 September – make sure you cast your vote at www.warwickshire.police.uk/AlcesterN_BigVote

The Arden Community Forum includes the Parishes of: Beaudesert, Henley-in-Arden, Tanworth-in-Arden, Ullenhall, Wootton Wawen, Coughton, Mappleborough Greeen, Morton Bagot, Oldberrow, Sambourne, Spernall, Studley, Bearley, Claverdon, Langley, Preston Bagot, Snitterfield and Wolverton.

Community Forums are an interactive event enabling residents to learn about issues big and small affecting their area, get answers to questions and influence local decision-making. Anyone with a question about a local issue can go along and put it to officers from a range of organisations.

Community Forums are part of a countywide initiative involving Warwickshire County Council, District and Borough Councils, NHS Warwickshire, Warwickshire Police and Warwickshire Together partners.  There are 30 forums across Warwickshire, which bring together elected representatives across all tiers of local government - County, District and Borough and Parish, together with a range of other community representatives.
