Following strong representations from Cllr Chris Mills and Cllr Alan Scorer (local ward members), together with consultation with the Leader of the Council, Cllr Chris Saint, the Chief Executive has been agreed that responses from the three Parish Councils, Lighthorne, Lighthorne Heath and Gaydon, for the new proposals in the Core Strategy will be considered providing they are with the District Council by mid-day on the 27 September 2013.

This has been done as a gesture of goodwill but the District Council has to carry out its general public consultation in line with its statutory Statement of Community Involvement.  This sets out a period of public consultation, on issues, of six weeks.

However, given the exceptional circumstances and the consultation period covering part of the summer holidays, the District Council realises it may be difficult for the three parishes to coordinate their response by the 13 September and has revised the deadline date for them to 12noon on 27 September.

All other comments if not from one of the Parish Councils need to be submitted by 5pm on Friday 13 September.
