Representatives of Stratford District Council, Warwickshire County Council, Jaguar Land Rover, Bird Group and Commercial Estates Group met last week to focus on future plans for the area around Gaydon and Lighthorne Heath.

The meeting concentrated on ensuring that the arrangements for improvements around Junction 12 of the M40, a notorious national traffic blackspot, take place; and that the options for the development of housing and employment land at a site in the vicinity of Gaydon and Lighthorne Heath can be progressed.

Councillor Chris Saint, Leader of Stratford District Council, said: “I am delighted that all parties are engaged in a dialogue.  We are working together to develop another scenario for future land use at Gaydon and Lighthorne Heath for all parties to consider."
