Southam First, working in partnership with Southam Christmas Lights Association and Southam Lions is presenting an exciting new feature to kick off the town's festive season.

The team has organised for a synthetic Ice Rink to be installed at the Bowling Green Inn in Coventry Street, providing an authentic ice skating experience for young and old to enjoy - for one weekend only.

The ice rink will open from lunchtime until 8pm on Friday 29th November to coincide with Southam's Christmas Lights Switch On event at 4.30pm and the arrival of Father Christmas.

On Saturday 30th November the rink will be open between 10am and 5pm to encourage families to visit and shop in the town, and will run alongside a town centre Christmas Street Fair and a fabulous Santa Grotto experience for the children.

On Sunday 1st December the skating rink will be open from 10am until approximately 3pm for all the family to enjoy.

So why not visit Southam on the weekend 29th November to 1st December, and get festive!

Free skating vouchers are available when you spend more than £25 in participating Southam retailers.

The Ice Rink is being funded by Warwickshire County Council's Operation Footfall scheme, and is promoted as part of Southam First's annual 'All I Want for Christmas' festive event.
