Five candidates contested the seat at the Stratford-upon-Avon Avenue and New Town, Stratford-upon-Avon Town Council by-election on Thursday 19 December.

The result is:


Lezley Bott (Stratford First Independent)        136 votes

 

Jason Robert Fojtik (Labour)                         175 votes

 

Tony Jefferson (Conservative)                       281 votes - elected

 

Paul Andrew Offer (UKIP)                             105 votes

 

Richard Steven Vos (Liberal Democrat)           257 votes  

 

 

The electorate for the Stratford-upon-Avon Avenue and New Town, Stratford-upon-Avon Town Council is 7045.


Turnout for this election was 13.6%. 

Turnout for the last contested Stratford-upon-Avon Avenue and New Town, Stratford-upon-Avon Town Council election on 27 May 2010 was 25.76%.
