Three candidates contested the two seats at the Shipston-on-Stour Town Council by-election on Thursday 12 December.
The result is:
Martin Leslie Ferrier 396 votes (elected)
Sheelagh Ferguson Saunders 550 votes (elected)
Daniel Thomas Scobie 394 votes
The electorate for the Shipston Town Council is 4357.
Turnout for this election was 19.9%.
Turnout for the last contested Town Council election at Shipston on 4 May 2000 was 42.98%.
