Voting has started in The Big Vote to help set the Police priorities for the next three months in the run up to the next Arden Community Forum taking place at 7pm on Thursday 13 March at the Studley Centre, High Street, Studley.

Make sure you cast your vote at www.warwickshire.police.uk/AlcesterN_BigVote by 5pm on Wednesday 12 March.

The main topic on the agenda for the Community Forum is focussing on Warwickshire Week of Thrift taking place from 24 to 28 March and will include a talk from Garden Organic, Ryton 'Give it a Grow' about an exciting new grow your own campaign from Garden Organic. The aim is to get people who have never grown anything before to give growing a go.

Come along to the open house session before the start of the Community Forum from 6.30pm to chat informally to representatives from the District & County Councils and your local Police Team.  Enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, browse our information stands including a 'Seed Swap' - bring a packet of seeds to swap and 'Up-cycle' your surplus plant pots.

If you are not able to come along on the night you can still get involved. Come and Have Your Say on the Mobile Roadshow as we jump aboard the Mobile Library on Wednesday 5 March at Earlswood, Tanworth, Ullenhall, Mappleborough Green and Studley.

For details of the Mobile Roadshow stops or for more information about the Forum please give Lizzie a call on 07557 565782.

The Arden Community Forum includes the Parishes of: Beaudesert, Henley-in-Arden, Tanworth-in-Arden, Ullenhall, Wootton Wawen, Coughton, Mappleborough Greeen, Morton Bagot, Oldberrow, Sambourne, Spernall, Studley, Bearley, Claverdon, Langley, Preston Bagot, Snitterfield and Wolverton.

Community Forums are an interactive event enabling residents to learn about issues big and small affecting their area, get answers to questions and influence local decision-making. Anyone with a question about a local issue can go along and put it to officers from a range of organisations.

Community Forums are part of a countywide initiative involving Warwickshire County Council, District and Borough Councils, NHS Warwickshire, Warwickshire Police and Warwickshire Together partners.  There are 30 forums across Warwickshire, which bring together elected representatives across all tiers of local government - County, District and Borough and Parish, together with a range of other community representatives.
