Stratford-on-Avon District Council's Chairman, Cllr Chris Mills will be officially opening a new business venture in his Kineton Ward this Friday 28 March at 11am.

Pretty Little Things, a dress and embroidery shop, in Market Square is the brainchild of 19 year old local Shannon Robson, which aims to make something unique for customers.

Cllr Chris Mills, Chairman of Stratford-on-Avon District Council says: “Opening a new business takes a lot of grit and determination and in the current economic climate it takes a certain entrepreneurship and what is even more remarkable is Shannon is only 19 years of age.  I wish her all the best in her new business."

Shannon has been making things from the age of 12 years for friends, she studied textiles at Kineton High School and went to Warwickshire College and she worked in a sewing shop.

She also trained with Brother, the sewing machine manufacturer in Manchester.
