Stratford-on-Avon District Council has published an extended report analysing the responses received as a result of the most recent round of consultation.

The report now includes two additional tables.  The first incorporates responses received for the most part from residents living in the vicinity of the proposed Gaydon/Lighthorne Heath site.  These responses have been added to the 1164 contained in the original analysis to provide a sample size of 1324.

The second new table incorporates a further set of responses from people who ranked some but not all of the options.  The overall sample size for this analysis is 1412.

The mean scores have been recalculated.  The principal impact is that in each case the order of the two most preferred sites is reversed.  The additional tables identify Long Marston Airfield as having the lowest mean score, with Gaydon/Lighthorne Heath having the second lowest mean score.

The Council wishes to emphasise that the mean scores shown in the initially published analysis are correct and that analysis holds good.  The new tables are published to provide additional context.  In determining its preferred option, the Council must and will have regard to the whole evidence base now available to it.
