For one week starting tomorrow, 13 November agents from EnviroCommsECC – enlisted by the Warwickshire Waste Partnership – will be visiting homes in the District to ensure that householders have all the information and equipment they need to make the most of their kerbside collection service.

The 'doorstepping' taskforce will work its way across the whole District*.

Since 2004, EnviroCommsECC has worked with more than 100 UK local authorities helping them achieve millions of pounds worth of savings to the public purse that recycling delivers by avoiding landfill.

EnviroCommsECC agents are being kitted out with distinctive uniforms and official identification, and will conduct interviews on the doorstep – with no need to enter a resident's home.

EnviroComms are involved with the rest of local authorities within Warwickshire and the complete county wide exercise will finish around mid-December.

*The taskforce will be visiting properties in Alcester, Bidford, Ilmington, Lighthorne Heath, Quinton, Shipston, Southam, Stratford-upon-Avon, Studley and Tysoe.
