Staff at Stratford-on-Avon District Council will be holding an extra Dress Down day and cake sale in aid of the current Syrian Refugee crisis this Friday 18 September.

Following The Cabinet's decision to offer support to the current refugee crisis, District Council staff were also keen to help.

On the first Friday of every month the District Council regularly holds a charity Dress Down Day to support a staff nominated charity throughout the year, where staff pay £1 to wear casual clothes to work.  The District Council has also taken part in Spinal Muscular Atrophy Support's Christmas Jumper Day and also collected food donations for Bromford Housing's Christmas hampers.
