Stratford-on-Avon District Council has installed a new outdoor table tennis table in the Recreation Ground, Stratford-upon-Avon.
The table tennis table is situated adjacent to the Changing Room Pavilion.
The table has been installed by the District Council with funding from Public Health Warwickshire as part of a wider initiative to encourage an increased use of the park for recreational purposes and physical activity.
Cllr Mike Brain, Technical Services Portfolio says: “This is a great new addition to the Recreation Ground facilities and would not have been possible without the funding from Public Health Warwickshire. It will hopefully encourage many people young and old to try table tennis and also hopefully persuade them to become more active."
The table is free to use but you need to bring your own table tennis bats and balls.
The table tennis table was made possible with a grant of £3,000 From Public Health Warwickshire
