Chair of the Council

The Chair of Stratford-on-Avon District Council is elected in May of each year at the Annual Meeting of the Council.

It is the Chair's responsibility as Civic Head is to represent the District Council at a large range of public, Civic and business events and also to act as Chair at each full meeting of the Council.

The current Chair is Councillor Jenny Fradgley and the current Vice-Chair is Councillor Kate Rolfe.

The Chair's charities for 2024-2024 are the Citizens Advice South Wawickshire, Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance Service, two organisations which are essential to the wellbeing of us all and are heavily reliant on public contributions. I will also be raising money for Parkinson's, a charity very close to my heart as my family has suffered from Parkinson's over generations
