Stratford-on-Avon District Council's website will be unavailable on Thursday 19 July 2007 due to on-going maintenance and improvements.

Anyone visiting the website during this "down time" will be re-directed to a web-page listing other ways in which they can contact the Council. The maintenance work is to allow for the servers to be brought back in-house and up-grading the connection to the internet.

During the "down time" the council will be unable to provide the following services to the public;

  • Food Safety system
  • E- Planning services via the www.stratford.gov.uk website
  • On Line Job Applications
  • On Line Pitch Bookings
  • Any services requiring on line payment

This work is being carried out to improve the speed of the Council's website and to prepare the website for the release of a new and enhanced Council developed E-Planning system in early August. The Council would like to apologise for this break in service and thank everyone for their patience during the maintenance work.

When complete, this work will contribute towards the Council's Corporate Aim of Inclusive Communities and providing 100% of applicable services electronically.

If you would like to contact the Council while the website is unavailable, please call the District Council on 01789 267575.
