Two new Executive Directors have been appointed at Stratford-on-Avon District Council as part of a management restructure.
One post of Executive Director was secured by Dave Webb – currently the District Council's Head of Enterprise, Housing and Revenue and the other Director's post will be David Buckland, currently the Assistant Chief Executive, who will remain the Council's S151 statutory officer.
Additionally, the appointment of Dave Webb as Head of Paid Service was made by Full Council today, Thursday 17 March, a requirement for the appointment of a Council's Statutory Officer.
Cllr Chris Saint, Leader and Chairman of Employment and Appointments Committee says: “I'm confident that the new appointments will make a significant contribution to the District Council and continue to take on new challenges.
“Dave Webb has been at the District Council for 26 years and David Buckland has over 25 years local government experience in a number of authorities, of which 10 years have been with the District Council. I am confident they will be able to lead in what will be very interesting new posts."
Additionally, David Dalby, Democratic Services Manager was appointed the Council's Returning Officer for a six month period.
